Most practices in this county now belong to one of four groups. That is not automatically bad, but it does mean somebody who has never met your animal decides which products get promoted this quarter.
We are owned by Helen, who founded the practice in 1998 and still does Saturday mornings. If we recommend something, it is because we think your animal needs it — and if we think you are spending money you do not need to, we say that too.

Consultations & diagnostics
Twenty-minute appointments as standard, because ten is not long enough to examine an anxious animal.
Surgery
Routine through to orthopaedic, with a dedicated theatre and a nurse monitoring every anaesthetic.
Dentistry
Digital dental x-ray, which is the only way to find the problem under the gum line.
Imaging
Digital radiography and ultrasound on site, so you get an answer in the same visit.
Laboratory
In-house bloods with results in twenty minutes.
End of life
At home wherever possible, unhurried, and with as many people present as you want.
Registering takes about four minutes.
We request the history from your current vet, so you never have to have that conversation.
